This project was awarded through an international luxury developer design competition and considered an adaptation of the Prairie Style to the desert environment and mountainside context. Highly articulated wood and steel connections and custom fixtures are included throughout the large residence. The machined detail is unified with regional materials such as wood, stone, and copper. Outward facing shed roofs open up the views from the interior to surrounding mountains and boulder fields.
